The Worm Turns Up: In Summer (Book 2)

Summer is here! The days are long. The cherries are ripe. And the hot sun hangs high in the sky. Early in the morning, Bird and Spider try to beat the heat in Bird's fancy nest, but it's still too hot to handle. All of a sudden, they hear cries for help! Soon, they find a friendly worm stuck in the sun. Bird and Spider provide some shade so Worm can get all slimy and healthy again. Everyone knows an early bird catches the worm, but will that prove true for friendship too?
